What Subject did you chose?
How salt affects the ice cream, how can we make the ice cream colder?
Why did you choose this subject?
We get to eat ice cream, and it’s weird how salt can just freeze milk and make it into ice cream.
What are you hoping to learn?
How salt affects how water freezes and effectively lowers the freezing/melting point of water.
ONE ICE CREAM WITH EXTRA SALT, ANOTHER WITH NO SALT AND ONE WITH THE NORMAL AMOUNT. OF SALT ADDED.
- Extra salt: I believe the ice cream will turn out very salty and colder, because the more salt you add the colder it gets and the saltier it gets.
- Normal amount of salt: I believe the ice cream will taste normal, it will have the perfect amount of saltiness in it, it will turn out pretty cold and it will be the standard stiffness of ice cream.
- No salt at all: I believe the ice cream wont turn to ice cream it wont freeze because the salt wont be there to freeze the melting point of the ice to turn the milk into ice cream.
