Producer a tree, a tree of course uses photosynthesis to store energy. Trees also release oxygen to most living things. In the chain the tree gets eaten by insects and fish eat insects then the heron comes along and eats the fish.

Consumer a heron, like I said earlier the heron eats the fish which of course balance out the population of fish. The heron breathes in oxygen and releases carbon dioxide, also called cellular respiration a way to exert energy. Again in this food chain when the heron dies it gets decomposed by the mushroom and returns to the earth. \/ \/ \/ \/ \/ \/

Decomposer the mushroom, the mushroom since it’s a plant it breathes in carbon dioxide and releases oxygen, but in this food chain when an animal dies or a consumer dies the mushroom breaks down the plant and returns it to the earth. The decomposed animal becomes fertilizer for trees and other plants.
