This audio clip answers the first question: “what is disinformation?” I answer this by defining disinformation and giving an example of it.
This clip answers the second question of the assignment. I talk about how social media is the biggest factor to the spread of false information, and an example of it.
Moving on to the third question: “Give an example / share an experience of how disinformation has impacted you or a community”. I answered this question by talking about a video game company I have been following for a long time now, and how they struggle with false information with the release date of the game and community feedback.
Finally on the last question I answer: “ How would you help your fellow classmates identify and stop the spread of disinformation?“. I talk about what I would do if I saw someone looking at something that is false information and how they should react to it. And I also talk about how false information compares to something like “phishing”.
