The Functional Procedures I Used in Science So Far…

• Used a camera for photography when we went to the Lagoon
• Made PowerPoint’s to make projects
• Used Microsoft Word for multiple documents
• Used a search engine to research important information
• Ms. Bovay uses her iPad and projector for note taking
• Used Microsoft Teams to turn in our big assignments/projects
• Used Fresh Grade to display work and marks
• Used our phones (in rare situations) to take pictures of important things with teach permission

 

 

Wow! This Was Helpful!

I found Fresh Grade very useful and very beneficial because it clearly showed my marks and work that we’ve been doing so far. This way my parents didn’t need to keep asking me how I’m doing because they knew exactly how to find out. We used it by simply taking a quick picture of our work and uploading it to our portfolio in Fresh Grade. Then awaiting our marks from Ms. Bovay.

 

 

Maybe in the Future…?

I am hoping to use Kahoot in the future because I find it both fun and beneficial for studying. Now the fun part is probably obvious but you might be a little stumped on the studying part. I am one of the people at Terry Fox who are very competitive. So, when I play Kahoot and I notice that someone is either creeping up on me or is ahead of me… I try extra hard to get the next few questions correct. This extra effort usually helps me remember most of the questions, so, it comes easier for me on a test or quiz, which then lowers my stress levels, and I can have a good and relaxing (and hopefully fun) day.
