Digital Citizenship

  1. 1. What is disinformation (Fake News)?

Disinformation is false information that mis leads people this could be caused by rumours that can spread from friends, family or random people such as theorist

  1. How does disinformation impact a community?

Disinformation can impact a community by people believing information that has spread to them and people might argue about what information is right or not unless you look into it however most people prefer not to look into it at all.

  1. Give an example/share an experience of how disinformation impacted you or a community.

A quick example is someone tells you about something they heard that was fake and then you go and tell a parent or someone like that on what you heard but then your parents tell you that what information you heard was false and people are spreading lies, but you disagree and it becomes an ongoing argument

  1. How would you help your fellow classmates identify and stop the spread of disinformation?

I would check the links and see if they are trust worthy and sometimes ask for help from my parents or from a teacher to properly identify the link or information that a friend or class mate would be looking at it.
