Who am I/Who are you? Describe yourself:

My name is Adelaine and I am currently a Grade 9 student at Terry fox Secondary school. I enjoy art and being creative. I also enjoy a good challenge.

What is important to you:

Honesty, hard work, family and friends, and making time for the things I really enjoy doing (for example, reading, crocheting, drawing, etc.)

What or who inspires you:

I don’t have a specific person who inspires me but anyone who lives true to themselves and is not afraid to show their true colours without the fear of being judged by others.

What is STEAM to you:

STEAM is a place where you don’t only learn about technology but you learn more about what you enjoy learning and it is also a place where you don’t have to be afraid to be a nerd and you can really show your strengths when it comes to learning.

Why did you choose to join STEAM:

I joined STEAM because I felt that it would be a perfect place to learn with similar thinking people and to really go into depth about the academic topics that I am interested in.
