Science Carbon reduction: Plants
What we have done.
So far we have found the highest carbon-using plant that grows in the shortest amount of time. For this we chose beans that we ordered and are keeping in and mini green room. Every 2 days or so we take a height check and water them with a small squeezy bottle. so far 9 beans have died, and 1 has grown 3x bigger than the others and is still growing each day. at the time of writing this, it is 25cm tall and growing more every day.
What we plan to do next.
We plan to continue to check and water them every 2 days or so. We will keep measuring and documenting the height with pictures each time we see them. We will also try to estimate how much carbon this plant has taken out of the air. over the break, I will take home the bigger bean plant and try to plant it in my garden.
