Mobile Design

Shape of the Day:

Website of the Day:

http://www.daysold.com/ – How many days old are you?

1. Phone vs Desktop

Below is a list of tasks you are expected to complete before the end of the day on your phone and on your desktop. You will compare how each device differs in how you need to complete each task. Use a program of your choice to create a table with the following headers for each question:

  • Phone
    • Describe the process/steps done to execute the question using your phone
  • Desktop
    • Describe the process/steps done to execute the question using your desktop
  • Preference
    • Share which device type you prefer for the question and explain why

Consider the following points when answering each question in the table:

  • Did you use an internet browser?
  • Did you use an application?
  • Is it easier/challenging to do on one or either device?
  • How is the user experience affected?
  • As a Web Developer, how challenging is it to ensure a better user experience for this device?
