Drafting 9

My Thaumatrope

We made this thing called a Thaumatrope. It has two sides, both with part of a image. If you spin it fast, the images combine to show you the full picture.

My Thaumatrope

We made ours with a laser cutter. On one side I had a boat in water. On the other side I have a kraken. This makes it look like the kraken is attacking the boat. I then coloured it in so you could see the image better.

Using Cricut

Our assignment was to use Cricut to decorate our folders, with our name, turtle symbol, a symbol of our choice, and a science safety logo.

My Name

Why I chose my name? Well because it is my name and I had to. But it was extremely fun making my name, and watching it get cut.

My Chosen Symbol

I chose this symbol because it is funny, cute, and just overall amazing. It was not hard to make, I found a little chick icon and scrolled a bit. I found the Elvis Presley hair and I thought it would be a perfect fit.

Turtle Symbol

This was my turtle symbol. We voted on our cohort name and we voted turtles. I found a picture and used a background remover then printed it black.

Safety Symbol

My safety symbol was for a broken glass spill. I tells you what not to do.

My logo shows the effects that can happen if cleaned up improperly.
