About Me

“One person can make a difference and everyone should try.” – John F. Kennedy

This quote is important to me because it shows that our world can really be a better place, as each person contributes to it. To me, it’s very inspirational and represents how hard work does help with change. Earth has many challenges to overcome and knowing that every individual can be a part of finding the solution is encouraging. Motivating is one word to describe this specific quote as and it has much truth to it. Thinking about how to make a difference isn’t hard, the difficult part is actually doing what you said would make a difference. This can be a quote used in many different situations and can push people to work harder in anything. There are so many things you can do in life to help in society from working in space, contributing to save our planet from climate change with that being a big priority and even just working at a grocery store can make a difference too.

Dance has been a major thing in my life that has always been there for as long as I can remember. I’ve danced for many years and have done ballet the longest, which is why I chose this video of a the nutcracker ballet. It’s hard work and does take time, but it’s so worth all the effort. Looking at my life, there has never been a time where I stopped dancing. Ballet brings people together, as you make friends and it helps relieve stress. I can’t be thankful enough to have dance a part of my living. The people you can trust and feel comfortable with can be easily found in the dance classes you attend weekly. Everyone in a way have each other’s back, picking up each other when we fall and helping with learning the ballet itself. Dance is something that I don’t know if I’ll keep doing in the future, but I do know for sure that I wish to continue dancing currently. I have so much gratitude for dance as it has been something that has taught me so much.

For me, Van Gogh’s “Starry Night,” represents a lot more than just the meaning that the artist had behind it. The painting for me shows how you can easily do anything you put your mind to. When he worked on his art, he would put effort into finishing his masterpieces. All of Gogh’s artwork has a deeper message to it or is influenced by emotions felt, depending on different situations he experienced. Something as simple as a single painting can have many different meanings, based on the perspective of each person. At first, he didn’t have that much passion for art, but found it over time, wanting to bring up his emotions in an expressive way. With that, it also reminds society that we don’t always know what we want to do in life right away, as it may take time to find the perfect thing to complete your life. Overall, this picture has showed me how paintings can have many feelings with perspective and that working hard has results.

Monarch butterflies have always fascinated me and I always wanted to learn about the species, as it was so interesting to me. I chose this website because of how much I like these butterflies as I’ve had many memories in life of them. In school, we used to watch over monarchs and and study, knowing that the species is endangered. Something I always admired about these butterflies are their beautiful coloured wings and it really is spectacular. You can have a plain background in nature, but adding a monarch can bring it to life. I think that this species shows the happiness and joy of nature and living as a whole, even if it’s just resting on a flower. Sadly, an adult monarchs lifespan is around two the six weeks, which isn’t long for us, but for butterflies, it would be very long as time and age works differently for every species. My hope is that the species will survive a lot longer in the future, however time will tell unfortunately as they’re already a limited amount of them and that can put them in more at risk of going extinct.
