Using data visuals to tell the story
1)I chose how hard it is to get into each ivy league school. I choose it because it sounded interesting and to see how hard it really is to get into these ivy schools.
1a)How Hard Is It to Get Into an Ivy League School? (visualcapitalist.com)
2)It’s a chart of the chances you have of getting into the school. Beside the percentages is a chart of the SAT scores for reading, writing and math for each school. The last column is an average annual cost for tuition in each school.
3)It shows us the hardest ivy league schools from hardest to easiest to get into and how much the average cost will be for tuition. It also shows us the average SAT scores in reading, writing and math per school. As you can see just because it’s a harder school to get into doesn’t mean it’s got the best scores or the highest tuition. This also goes for the schools closer to the bottom. Just because they are at the bottom doesn’t mean they are bad or have the worst SAT scores. Along with this it also doesn’t mean it’s going to be the cheapest.
