Belcarra Regional ParkποΈ
These are my watercolor field notes from my trip to Belcarra Regional Park.
I documented things I found in the nature, like plants, crabs, and seals.Β
Crabs π¦
The first thing I did there was go crabbing.
We inspected several crabs, but I was disappointed when my teacher told us we couldn’t eat them.
How can you put dozens of exquisite delicacies right under someone’s nose and expect them to not feel hungry?
My yearning for food was short lived because we ate lunch soon after, and I had some rice like always.

After that, I was excited to find out we would be going into the woods.
We were tasked to identify some plant species, but they were all near the mouth of the trail, so we didn’t really get to explore.
Thoughts π€π
Busing to and from the park was quite enjoyable because I got to catch up on some sleep.
All in all, it was a cool excursion to get some fresh air, but I wouldn’t go there again, not unless we were promised a free crab.

Me upon realizing that consumption of the crustaceans is off-limits.
