This is my first one. What I did was that I just followed the instructions and the guide exactly. I realized that I didn’t make the axels smooth enough so it didn’t go anywhere. I also didn’t make the balloon holder close enough to the car so there were holes, and I also made the air hole to small. Not a lot of air came out.
This is my second one. I made sure to fix all my mistakes from the first model. I made the axels smaller and it went smoother this time. I also made the balloon holder closer to the car and this time there were no holes. I also made the air hole bigger and this made the air come out faster and made the car move.
Boat race
This my report on how I think the boat race went. Overall it was funny and sad to watch, I say this because there were teams (including mine) that just kept yelling at each other and it was a bit of a mess. At the 30 min mark we started to panic and we were able to finish our boat. I guess the saying was true, when ppl are desperate enough they start to work together better (that’s not a saying I don’t think). It got messy when we put the boat in the water though, it went taco mode when my teammate sat in it (I still don’t know why he didn’t use the paddles). We ended up sinking at the end of the race way and didn’t win anything…. Oh well. Here’s some pics

Passion project…
Reason I made project…
The reason I made the power gauntlet is because I like the look of super overpowering items in real life and i wanted to make one of my own. Vi is also my favorite character in the show and I this that she’s such a bad ass for dealing with all the stuff she’s gone through. She is the most impactful person in my opinion and should have deserved better in season 2.
How i made it…
My passion project is ambitious to say the least. so far I’ve completed the final construction, now I need to finish the paint job. as far as the complexity of the model, it made my head hurt making all the fingers and the structure coating. the colors I’m using are the same as Vi’s breakdown look, if you’ve seen Arcane season 2 then its easy to see why I did this color pallet.
I started by making the bottom part or the forearm out of carboard and worked my way up. after it dried it was as solid as a tree. after that I made the palm using the same technique, 15 min in I realized that it was going to be a lot more difficult to construct than the forearm. I was able to make and attach the palm to the forearm but I used way more material than what I thought I would, I also attached the knuckles near that time as well. this was also nearing the moment where I start to regret making it this big. It’s almost 3ft long, I definitely overdid it with the size but it’s to scale so what ever. A week later made the fingers and OMG I hated this prosses so much, it was so much cutting and gluing and it was messy. I could only make 4 fingers because adding a fifth one looks weird, after all digits were attached I started on details. mainly the paint job along with other protruding areas. much later I painted a moral of Zaun (the undercity) and Piltover (the golden city).
Class life…
unfortunately I don’t have any other photos to show so just try to visualize it.
In class we started with learning how to use a cricut cutting machine and making our own logos and stickers. it was really fun to learn about and is the most chaotic and fun thing that we did at that time. after that we learned how to use the 3d printers and we made our first models which were gyroscopic atoms that took all of us a few tries to get right. then we learned how to scale stuff using the tinkercad app and all of use made mini sports equipment. we also did lots of presentations like trying to make ideas to make the school more inclusive or finding out what to do for our passion projects, which was also kinda fun I might add. then we spent the rest of the time creating our passion projects and that was the most fun that I’ve had in a while. It was very interesting to see how other classmates thought of their projects and the making was quite interesting too. over all I thought that this was a fun year and I’m excited for the next and what it will bring me.
