TERRY FOX‘S FOUR PILLARS.
Perservence– Having a set of Morals that you stick with/ doing what’s right even when things don’t go as planned. Not giving up no matter what happens.
Kindness/Compassion– The quality of being friendly, kind, and generous. Not expecting anything in return, but doing it for the goodness of you’re heart.
Integrity– Being honest and strong rules you abide by no matter who’s looking/ and or if anyone isn’t looking.
Leadership– The action of leading a group of people or an organization.
The pillar that is the most meaningful to me is Kindness/ COMPASSION.

This is Adam Sandler. Adam proves that you can have everything, and still be humble enough to remember that, at the end of the day- we’re all human. Adam’s reputation for a well-known celebrity/ comedian in this industry is unbelievable. He’s had little to no scandals throughout his entire career, and is incredibly dedicated to his wife Jackie Sandler, and his two little girls- Sunny and Sadie. Sandler has a cumulative net worth of 2 BILLION dollars. That’s more money than a generation of families will see during a century. Yet, Adam still manages to be humble, and believes it’s not worth spending on useless things just to prove their wealth (as we’ve seen the way Sandler dresses). Instead, Adam donates his earnings directly to charities such as Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Children’s Cancer Research.

EXPLANATION:
Ever since I was 1o, My brother and I started watching this show called “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”. We sat down in front of the TV every single day, and watched countless episodes together laughing our heads off at every second. In total, I’ve rewatched all 8 seasons around 20 times, and it never fails to be my comfort show.
PILLAR TO LIFE…
Incorporating the four pillars that Terry Fox Secondary School uses everyday, you can factor those qualities into your everyday lifestyle. Perseverance- Don’t give up after something doesn’t go as planned or in your favour. Use that as a lesson to do better next time, and continue to strive for your goals and success!
Kindness/Compassion- If it look’s like someone had a bad day, or like they could use a hug, do it. Being kind takes little to no effort, and one small moment like such can make someone’s day.
Integrity- You wanna do something and you know nobody’s watching to tell you no but, your gut tells you somethings off- or that doesn’t feel right? Don’t do it. Have some sort of integrity and self respect and that’ll make you into a stronger person.
Leadership- If you don’t like what your seeing/ happening- don’t follow, but lead people into a better direction. This doesn’t mean boss, although it means to be a help to people to make a change of even the slightest.
