Who am I?

I am a passionate student who is interested in becoming an aerospace engineer. I play lots of sports and I really want to get a plane and private pilots license.

What is Important to Me?

Some things that are important to me is hockey, because I have made lots of friends through hockey. I have also learned a lot of valuable skills like how to work as a team and how to be a leader and bring people up and not tear them down.

Who or What Inspires Me?

Someone who inspires me is Conner Bedard. Connor Bedard inspires me because at just 15 years old Connor Bedard was granted exceptional status to the WHL (Western Hockey League). He had to over come multiple interruptions to his career like a broken wrist and a family vacation to Hawaii and yes he brought hockey gear to Hawaii. Connor practiced everyday and played against people older than him. That is why he inspires me because everyday he worked hard, over came obstacles and pushed him self farther then he has ever gone before.

What is S.T.E.A.M to Me?

To me S.T.E.A.M is a way to learn more than others and expand my knowledge in a way that is fun and interesting. Like combining subjects together on projects and drawing ideas and making them come to life in drafting.

Why Did I Choose to Join S.T.E.A.M?

I choose to join S.T.E.A.M because I think it will open more doors for me like learning how to 3d print models and make a logo then turn it into a sticker. Expanding my knowledge in science by going to the lagoon and finding out information about the water and the environment around and in the lagoon. Also having a challenge in Math and pushing myself to do things I would not normally do.

I find that this quote is meaningful and inspiring because it reminds you that others may have more talent at something but if you work harder than them and have a better attitude then you will succeed.

I choose this video because this summer I got to meat Capt. Jesse “Modem” Haggart-Smith when he was performing at the Abbotsford International Airshow. He walked me around his jet and I got to sit in side of the CF-18 Hornet. He also opened a compartment that he was not supposed to show me so I got to see a security level 1 clearance item.

Inspiring Photo

This photo inspires me because it is of a young hockey player from Coquitlam who just made the NHL. Connor Bedard believes in The Rule of 100 which states if you do one thing for 100 hours for a year you will be better than 95% of the population at that one thing. And for perspective that is only 18 minutes a day.

I choose this website because this website bonds my family. every year at the begging of the NFL season My Dad, uncle and I all draft fantasy football teams to compete for glory. their is no prize for winning but it still brings the three of us closer together.
