Drafting 9

All Projects

1 Point Perspective Drawing

This is my 1 point drawing. For my one point perspective drawing I drew the hallway of a school. On either side you can see lockers and doors to class rooms.

3 Point Perspective Drawing

This is my 3 point drawing. For my three point perspective drawing I drew a city. There is two roads leading one of the points and where the roads meet is the third point. It looks like a block from a big city like New York.

Basic Sticker

My first one color basic sticker. For my basic one color sticker I decided to make a F-18 Super Hornet because over the summer I got the opportunity to sit in the seat of one that flew at an airshow the next day.

Two Color Sticker

My second sticker was a two color sticker. It is the Hockey Canada logo. I choose to make the hockey Canada logo because I play hockey and this logo is used to represent all hockey leagues in Canada.

Sticker Logos

My third sticker was one of my three logos. It was a graffiti initials. I choose to make this logo because I liked how it was smooth and was many sharp points. I liked how the letters flowed together.

My second logo is a 3d logo. I choose this logo because I liked how it kind of looks like the corner of a building with the letters as walls. I liked how the F was backwards am dhow the letters are block letters so it easy to read.

My third logo looks like it has a lightning bolt through it. I choose this logo because I like the way the “slice” went through both letters.

Wood Die

This is the wooden die I laser cut out of wood. I glued the cube together then I sanded the die in tech ed. I made the design of the die and put numbers overtop on the laser cutting software.

Acrylic Die

This is the same as the wooden die but I made it smaller and closer to the actual size of a die and out of a different material.

3D Printed Boat

I made it out of blue cause it was one of the color options and blue is my favorite color. I tried to make the boat as close to a barge as I could because barges carry a lot of weight. I also tried to make it as big as possible because then it would hold more pennies.

3D Biome

This is Aikam and I’s 3D Biome project. We made a representation of the wildlife you could find in a nearby forest.

Hyde Creek Boat Races

These are some of the photos from the boat race. My group made a boat that had two layers of cardboard and support beams in the middle. We had three fins on the bottom of the boat. The outside was wrapped completely in a layer of clear packing tape. We named our boat the edge surfer. We won fastest boat and we won longest floating boat.

Passion Project

Why did I choose my project?

The reason I choose my project was that I had a passion for the motorsport of F1 and I wanted to create something to represent that. I wanted to demonstrate my skills 3d modeling items also so I decided I was going to 3d print something related to it, but I wanted it to be able to move like a real car so I decided I would make it as a cover for an old rc car.

How was the process of my project?

The process of my project started with a brainstorming phase where I went through multiple different ideas for my project before deciding on this. Then it was the 3d modeling phase where I spent over a month designing and scaling the model. After that it took about a month to print everything because I had some prints fail and other prints that were scaled wrong. Then it was the final phase where I took all the photos and information and put it on a display and assembled the car.

End Result Of My Project

My project turned out with a few bumps and scratches, but in the end I am very proud of it and I don’t think that I could’ve done a better job. The body flowed together really well with it fitting on the car nice and snugly.
