Journaling About the Belcarra Park

What We Did In Belcarra Park:
In Belcarra Park we went crabbing and went for a little short hike. The drive was about half an hour, when we first arrive we had to organize into our groups of 2. We were in group 1 so we head to dock to go crabbing. We pulled up the net and there were like lots of crabs. Most of the were female and none of them was big enough to bring back to school. We drop the crabs back into the sea and a seal came by. The seal was looking at the crabs(I think the seal ate it). After that we head to grab lunch, it was a short lunch break but was enough to eat my food. After that quick lunch break we went the little hike I said earlier, and a teacher handed us a card with a plant on it. It was a scavenger hunt to find this specific plant, we had to find it with a panther. Ours plant was quick to find. After that tiring trip we went back on the bus and went home, that was about it.
What The Water Color Represents:
The first photo represents the animal I saw in the sea, trying to eat the crabs we released: a seal. The second photo was a starfish and a jellyfish with a question “fish?” because are they really fish? The last photo is just a crab, not really an accurate representation of the crab. The sticky note on the other hand is a much better detailed representation of the Dungeness crab. On the lefts side of the sticky note is a diagram to tell which crabs are male or female.
Interesting Facts About My Work:
When we posted our work on the bulletin boards we had to had to write something good on each other work with sticky notes. I was not expecting mine to have any, but because of the seal it really caught people’s attention. Some did compliment about it on the way I organized it. I tried organizing mine on a way like it is on a desk with the pencil and eraser.
