Plastic Project
Film Review
1. Message of the film:
The message of the film was about how bad the Earth is getting damaged due to the plastics people use.
2. Summary
In the film, people explain and show what plastic does to the Earth and people, and how plastic can make a big difference. For Earth, it will be climate change, micro plastics, and how plastic relies on fossil fuels. For people, it was mostly about health risks. People could accidentally eat them through microplastics in water or food. And people were going around and finding multiple solutions to get rid of plastics.
3. Bias
Since, the researchers are not in a perspective of the companies, they might not understand the efficiency of using plastics for their products.
4. Reflection
I found very shocking how the microplastics takes 500 years to decade. This made me realize that I should use less plastic. It was also very interesting how companies also tried to reduce the plastic. For example, Samsung is trying to not use plastic packaging for their products.

I chose Asian Tortoise for my number 1 winner because tortoise’s shells are very hard that even sharks can’t break them even if they chomp on it with full power. Second reason I chose it was because tortoise is the only sea animal among them. So if the tortoise goes into the water, they cannot do anything about it.
