In English we went on a field trip to Belcarra and made a nature journal using water colors. this was one of my first time using water colours and i found it enjoyable. this is my nature journal i decided to write about holly and dungeons crabs. I had lots of fun with this assignment because of the creativity i got to use to make mine unique.
at Belcarra we went on a nature walk where we looked at all the plants that have been growing over the years. we learned about how the land is connected and special to the indigenous people. then we went down to the dock and did some crabbing. in science we learned how to identify the crabs so it would be easier for us when we got there. we learned how to hold a crab and release it back into the ocean. it was very fun to see all the crabs and we even saw a seal.
water colour journaling doesn’t have to be perfect because water goes where it want to. its a fun activity for me because i like things to be perfect but this i knew didn’t have to be perfect. the colours are a way to express your self. i tried to make mine look like what i saw at Belcarra. but everyone sees things differently that’s why everyone’s is going to be different.
