making the boat
when making our boat we wanted high walls and a structural base. we wanted to make sure that none of the water would get into our boat. the high walls really help when we added more people into the boat. the one thing that i would change about the boat is putting another base layer. having two base layers would help stabilize the boat and give it more air to float.

the race
during the race we made our boat hold the heavest person first so that when we had to add more people it wouldnt be the biggest change. i think that this helped us a lot because our boat held two people for almost 20 minutes. the high walls that we made really helped keep the water out. the main reason why our boat sunk is because there where leaks in the bottom.
