Grade 10 Semester 1 works

As November draws to an end, it is time for me to show off all I’ve done this period so far. Here it goes!

Assignments:

Astronomical Ton 618 model

A science/drafting assignment. The event horizon is 3d printed, while the accretion disk is laser cut and then painted.

Carvity

A gravity car. It has a lasercut body and 3d printed front wheels. It is 67% efficient, currently at second place both just in this class and when counting last year’s cars.

Gyroscope

For my fall passion project, I made a gyroscope. Then I made another and a base.

Bath Bomb Mold

In Science, we were doing bath bombs, and part of it was to design and 3d print a bath bomb in Drafting. One of the junction pins snapped, and I wasn’t able to print the other side, but it worked fine.

Personal projects:

Poster

A poster I cut. It includes multiple color stickers and various memes and designs. It is currently on the wall above my bed.

Umbrella handle cap

My brother’s umbrella lost its handle cap. Thus, he came to me for help, and, as the amazing younger brother I am, I designed and 3d printed a cap to fill the hole with his personal logo.

Fridge

When we first moved in to this house, right at the beginning of September, the fridge was missing a piece to hold items. So I took it upon myself to make a substitute, and it works wonderfully. the actual holder is laser cut from acrylic, with it is attached to the fridge using a nicely designed 3d printed pair of holder with hooks to attach to the holes where the original should be.

Drum foot

Mr. Cho, the concert band teacher, approached me for help. One of the feet for a pair of hand drums (or whatever it called) had gone missing, and he wanted me to make a substitute. I did, and it worked wonderfully. It is 3d printed and has a nice rick roll on its side too!
