Motorized Bike – “Ride or Die”
Idea & Requirements:
Me and Vlad are making a motorized bike. We are making this to show off our creative thinking and passion for adventurous tasks. All we will need for this project is a simple bike, a pair of tires, a compact 50cc engine, and a toolkit.

Simplification of The Process:
- Get the bike and attach tires to the wheels (we bought it separately)
- Attach engine to the bike
- Attach the accessories:
- Handles
- Exhaust
- Gas tank
- Carburetor
- Chain
- Clutch
- Gas throttle
- Sprocket
- Gas tube + Filter
- Spark Plug
- Electrics
- Chain Tightener
- Fill up gas tank with pre-mix of gas and oil
- Voila
As of April 15th, Vlad first tested and rode the bike for the first time.
As of April 22nd, Vlad tested it again with a friend.
As of April 28th, Me and Vlad (+Roman) tested the bike together for the first time. However we ran into a few problems: One of the pedals broke, so we had to replace them, and the gas started leaking a little bit. But other than that, the bike ran pretty well.
As of May 5th, we haven’t been able to do anything since the last check-in, but we are planning to make a video presentation as an unlisted youtube video, or a trifold poster as well as add stickers onto the bike.
As of May 9th and 11th, we still haven’t progressed because we have both been too busy (but I have started making stickers) outside of school but our goals/plans remain the same.
As of May 15th, I have asked my mom to buy me a trifold poster and I’m most likely receiving it today.
As of May 23rd, me and Vlad have scrapped the video because we can’t find any time where both of us are available to meet and make it, so we will stick with the tri-fold poster.
As of May 25th, me and Vlad have made a little bit of progress on the tri-fold poster.
