My environmental law to save the Giraffe species

Description of the presentation

For this assignment, we had to choose an animal that’s endangered, threatened, or vulnerable. Once we chose our animal, we did a ton of background research on it. After that, we had to make an environmental law to protect the animal we chose from going extinct. The animal I chose was the Giraffe. 

My presentation

In my presentation, I explained a few different facts about giraffes, like where they live, what the climate is like for them and what their predators are. I explained how giraffes are being negatively affected by their economic sector, and how they are affected by climate change. Then, I researched online to find out what we can do to protect the giraffes, which helped me make an environmental law to protect the giraffes. The part where we make an environmental law is very important for this project. 

What I can do to improve for next time

I think I can improve on my presentation by using more effective transitioning words, rather than jumping straight to the topic. I think I can improve my powerpoint by adding a couple more picture for each slide. And last, I think I can improve on my work habits that I used for this project. For this project, I kind of waited to finish it closer to the due date. Next time, I think it’s better for me to complete work as soon as I can, so that way I don’t have to do it later and risk being rushed because it’s almost due.
