About Me 2.0

Who am I?

To know me, you must first know what my name means, which is Rameshinder Singh Khattra. My first name was given to me by my grandfather. The Ramesh part was a name that glorious generals, kings, and other significant figures in Inda’s history had. The ending Inder meant the god of the sea. My middle name Singh is more of a religious term that all men apart of Sikhism have. It primarily means lion which signifies bravery. As for my last name, I honestly have no idea. The only thing I have pieced together is that it means having a deep spiritual understanding. Now I enjoy playing video games, tinkering with software, and learning diverse types of code which relates to me wanting to have some sort of job in software.

What is Important to me?

The most important things to me other than (family, food, water, house, electricity, etc.) are video games. I mean the feeling of sitting back and relaxing while playing through a sandbox world where you can do things that would never be possible is quite a distinctively nice feeling.

Who or What inspires me?

There have been many people throughout my life that inspired me. They were mainly scientists like Nikola Tesla or Albert Einstein. However, nowadays it can be narrowed down to two people. One of which is John F. Kennedy. He inspires me because I have been struggling with my leadership attributes. His ideas and leadership skills can be said to be one of the top throughout modern history. An example can be his speech on traveling to the moon, which is often referred to as one of the most important speeches written. The second person is none other than Elon Musk. He mainly inspires as his work ethic and dedication are peerless.

What is STEAM?

STEAM is an abbreviation for Science, Technology. Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The purpose of STEAM is to incorporate the five subjects together into a project-based learning environment.

Why did I choose to explore STEAM?

I chose STEAM as it appealed to my interests and what career options I might choose from. The skills that can be learned from STEAM are also heavily important. It also removes the boring concept of assignments with more project-based learning, which in turn helps you prepare on how to efficiently complete tasks in a group.
