Passion Project Grade 9
For my passion project I didn’t really know what I wanted to do so I went through the projects list and picked the one that seemed the most interesting but wasn’t to east or to hard. that I wanted to make a custom solar paneled car and try to beat the basic one that we did earlier this year. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to make everything that I need work properly and all fit together.
Here are some photos of what I ended up making through TinkerCad and AutoCad.

Those two pictures above are photos of the wheels and the gears that I planed to use once the car was all finished.

Also this photo is an older design of the base but it didn’t really work out to well because the stand didn’t fit properly and the pieces that stick out the back for the wheels to connect to were to skinny and very flimsy. they probably would have broken if I left them like that.
This picture above is my new and improved design for the base of the car as well as a stand to hold up the solar panel. In this one I fixed the spacing and made the part that sticks out the back for the wheels a bit wider. Sadly this one never got made as I ran out of time.
Also in the first semester I did a different project for my passion project. Me, Lucas Gill, and Brenen Kim made a Minecraft world where we built a village.
If you go to slides 8-12 in This Power point you can see the work we did for that.
