(I do not have an image of my project, but here is an image of a waterwheel that inspired my design for the project)

In Drafting, I had to create a design to solve one of the problems that salmon face during their lives. The problem that I chose was the amount of gravel needed for salmon spawning. My design made it so that gravel could flow through the river with the use of a waterwheel. The waterwheel would pick up the gravel and let it flow across the stream, so it is spread around the river. This design would help balance the gravel levels in the salmon habitats.

Drafting: Passion Project

In Drafting, I created two stickers using the sticker cutter. The first sticker is a sticker of the title “Minecraft”, and the second sticker is an eye from a character in a show. I created the stickers because I wanted to explore more tools in Drafting, since I hadn’t used the sticker cutter before. These stickers happen to be part of my passion project, specifically my first projects of the main passion project. I plan to continue exploring more tools in Drafting since I haven’t explored all the tools yet.

Science: Gingerbread House

In Science, I was in a group and we created a gingerbread house to see how many jellybeans could fit inside the house. Our gingerbread house design was very tall and was shaped like a hexagon. To measure how many jelly beans could fit into our house, we used math to calculate how many jelly beans could theoretically fit into the house. I forgot how many jelly beans our house could fit, but it was somewhat low compared to the other groups’ gingerbread houses.
