Activities Completed in Drafting

This page is a portfolio to all the completed assignments and activities that has taken place during my Drafting STEAM 9 Course.

Cricut: Sticker Design

During this part of the unit, my class and I were tasked with using a Cricut to design our own stickers. Cricut is a designing platform that is used to design various textiles and clothing related work.

We made FOUR stickers using Cricut namely;

1. A sticker of our name

2. A sticker about us made using the combine tool

3. A sticker of our respective cohort (Turtles)

4. A sticker of the Science Workplace Safety Logo that we designed

We designed the various stickers using the Cricut Design Software. Afterwards, we took a piece of vinyl with a colour of your choice (mine was blue) and laid it on a measuring platform. After that, we connected our laptops to the Cricut Maker and started the procedure of cutting the vinyl to our desired shape.

Later when the Cricut Maker was finished, using a hook, I separated the shape I made from the rest of the vinyl and placed them unto the front of my Drafting folder.

The alien holding the football helmet with the gear above the alien in the middle right side is the sticker I made using the combine tool. It is meant to depict me. I love sports, STEAM and I am simultaneously cool and a bit weird.

The Turtle sticker at the bottom left shows my cohort (The Turtles).

The Sticker at the far right is my WHMIS safety logo to always wear goggles in the lab.
