Motorized Bike

                                                The  Idea:

Me and Nik were just sitting at a desk brainstorming and then I came up with an idea of building a motorized bike because I have done it before and i have the experience, but instead of doing the same thing I have done before, I bought a bigger engine.

How we got it done:

An engine and all the necessary parts were ordered from amazon, bike and wheels for it were bought from Facebook marketplace, all was put together at home with tools under 5 hours.

Steps

Start by attaching the engine to the middle of the bike frame.

Take off the wheel, put on a bigger sprocket, and then put the wheel back on.

Adjust the chain length and connect it by placing it on both the wheel sprocket and the smaller sprocket attached to the engine.

Mount the gas tank on top of the bike frame.

Install the necessary components:

Install the carburetor to regulate the fuel-air mixture.

Integrate the clutch system for power transmission control.

Affix the gas throttle for speed and acceleration management.

Install the spark plug and connect all the necessary wires for ignition and functionality.

                                              Questions

How did your entire project go?

Mine and Nikita’s project in my opinion went pretty well, we didn’t have big challenges or struggles, we just kind of did the project and it ended up being  by nearly perfectly.  The one thing that I wish I would of done differently was the money management because I feel like I spent a bit too much money on the bike and and the wheels for it, I’m not sad about it as I will sell the bike and earn more but I just could’ve saved my self a bit more money.

How was the event?

Honestly at first I didn’t even want to go the the science fair as Nikita was sick so he wasn’t able to come. The event ended up being exactly how I thought it would go but just more funner because me and other people got the joy of riding the bike. (Also lots of compliments from the people that got to ride the bike)

What would you do differently or keep?

My future plans for another project would be to make a go kart or a quad, just something better and more unique than just an engine on a bike. It obviously would include an engine again but this time it would probably be bigger, stronger, and faster.

How was the process?

The process ended up being faster than I thought it would be, at first I wanted to invite Nikita to my place so we could put the engine on the bike together but I ended up doing it by my self and got it done in less than 5 hours

How was your presentation?

The presentation was pretty simple for me. People went up to the bike asked who it was, I would say that its mine, they would ask questions, and I would answer them.
