1.The functional procedures I used in this class

Using a search engine – I had to search for pictures for the project we were doing on the Blakeburn Lagoon assignment.

Accessing a school website – I accessed the school website to log into office 365.

Uploading and/or downloading – I downloaded lots of pictures of animals to my IPad because it didn’t work when I copied and pasted them from Google.

Sending a link – I sent a link of my PowerPoint to my teacher to hand in my project

Embedding video and/or links into an application (ex.ppt)

Scanning a document

Printing a document

Using a QR code

Saving to a cloud (Office 365) – I saved my project onto Office 365 so I could work on it at home.

Accessing work on multiple devices (ie. at home and at school) – I worked on the Blakeburn project at home on an IPad and at school on a laptop.

Sending/responding to an emailCollaborating online

Cutting/pasting text, pics or links – I copied and pasted pictures from the internet into my PowerPoint on a laptop.

 

2. Describe one digital tool or resource you found useful in this class. How did you use it and why was it useful?

One tool I found that was useful was copying and pasting different images onto my PowerPoint. It was useful because most of the things I needed to talk about were way easier with images. Being able to copy and paste a picture is faster and easier than having to download it to your device.

3. Describe a tool, app, or resource you are hoping to use in the future. What would you use it for?

The resource I’m hoping to use in the future is scanning a document to put into word or PowerPoint. I want to do that because I want to learn how to do that and it may be easier for homework assignments.
