Course Code: MADW-09
This is an introductory woodworking course. This is primarily a “hands on” course where you will learn basic shop safety, general shop procedures, design & dimensioning, and the use of hand and power tools in the woodshop. Students will apply and demonstrate skills learned through various projects constructed during the program. Upon successful completion of Woodwork 9 students will be able to safely use general hand tools, and woodworking power tools. Students that complete the mandatory skill building projects will have the opportunity to construct independent projects.
