This slideshow is about an environmental law that I created in order to help protect a keystone species that I chose. In my case, I chose snow leopards. The Law that I created was to make fossil fuels illegal (slowly) to help stop the glaciers, ice and snow from melting where the Snow Leopards live.
How the presentation went:
I practised many times before the presentation so that I made sure I would be prepared. I worked on clarity and not talking too fast, which made for a 4 minute presentation out of the maximum 5 minutes. When I actually went to do my presentation, I ended up talking a bit fast for part or it so it was only 3 minutes and 40 seconds. Overall, I talked loudly and clearly enough, so I still did well. My script was easy for me to follow, and I included many slides with images.
Ways I could have improved:
One way I could have improved was talking slower, so that the presentation was a little bit longer. I started to get nervous part of the way through the presentation so I started to talk faster, which resulted in it being 20 seconds faster than expected. Another thing I could have improved on was the order of my slides. The PowerPoint still made sense, but I probably could have changed the order so that it was even better.
