Final Project Reflection

Posted in Capstone Reflections, and Weekly Reflections

How did your entire project go? What would you have done differently? What worked out?

I feel with how I started out with this project, that I was consistent throughout this whole process. I definitely feel like there were some downs where I didn’t feel motivated enough to add to my project but I felt confident in the end result and that it turned out the way it did.

Something I would’ve done differently is go to other areas in Port Coquitlam such as the south side to see the difference between (of what I’ve seen) which side is cleaner or if Port Coquitlam as a whole is clean. Also to add, while finding a time to pick up garbage; I wish I went sooner so then I can get my art done faster and focus on a clean preparation.

But the thing that worked out is I ended up adding another Steam aspect which was technology. I added a Qr code to my poster that leads to my website and displays more information.

How was the event? Did the day/event go as you thought it would? What was different compared to what you expected? Were your expectations met and how?
The day went a lot better than what I intended. I thought I was going to mess up how I presented but, even though I went off script, I kept the flow and presented what came to find. I feel like I went past my expectations because I thought I was only going to connect it to 2 Steam letters, but in the end connected it to 4. I’m also happy with how the layout turned out
What would you do differently or keep? What are your future plans with this project? Are there any?
Something I would do with this project is expand on it. I feel like I could’ve gone further like reaching out to someone in the community or incorporating drafting someway into the project. I just want to make it stand out and really become something more.
How was the process? How did your planning of your project go? Did you follow your plan? Did you have one? Did your plan help you?
When I made my plan, I felt like it definitely helped me in being consistent and holding myself accountable. Some weeks I made less progress than what I wanted to, but I got it done in the end.
How was your presentation? How did your presentation go? Were you able to present easily? Did you feel unprepared? Did you feel your project was captivating enough to grab viewers attention?
I felt prepared but not confident as first, but when we practiced in front of peers, I felt more comfortable and then the rest came easily to me. I feel something that grabbed the viewers attention is when I mentioned “plalking” because no one knew what that word meant. So by explaining something new, they were intrigued in what it really was.
