Globe at Night

• My impression of this project is it looks interesting and I am curious how much light pollution there is wherever I go. 

• I can’t find who the researchers are but they are researching the impact that light pollution has on the natural world.

• the role of the non-scientists/citizens is to report what stars they can see in the night sky and where they are.

• This project monitors the amount of light pollution there is around the world and where. this is accomplished by volunteers like me going outside and reporting what I can see in the night sky.

•  The researchers are monitoring this to see it’s effects on the different ecosystems around the world. 

• This project benefits society by raising awareness on the effects of light pollution and why we should try to reduce it as much as possible
