About ME

My Favourite Quote:

” One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.”           – Malala Yousafzai

This quote is meaningful to me because I also believe that if education was available to more children, more families could be lifted out of poverty. Malala believes that all children, no matter their gender, race, religion, or family, should be given an equal chance at education. She stood up for these beliefs when she was young and it almost killed her. She survived against all odds and to this day is still fighting for education rights.

A Video to Inspire You and Make You Think:

I chose this video because I will watch it when I am at my lowest and it makes me reflect on my life and my goals for the future. It inspires me to find that one thing that lift me back up and do something for someone else.

This is a picture of the Disney princess Belle, who I have always connected with because of her love of reading and free spirit. She not a simple-minded princess as she fights her way through any conflict and does not need a price to come to her rescue (even though it does happen). The actor that played Belle in the 2018 adaptation is one of my role models. Emma Watson has been in the spotlight since she was 9 years old when she got the role of Hermione Granger in Harry Potter. Unlike most actors and actresses, she went to college and graduated with a bachelor’s in English literature. She is a advocate for women’s rights and I respect all that she has done with her life.

My FAVOURITE book series is Harry Potter and I love visiting this site to read and learn more about the Wizarding World. It sorts you into a house, a quiz that was created by J.K Rowling, and takes you through the whole experience digitally.
