Students in their Grade 11 year of the STEAM Program are encouraged to take STEAM electives that support their future interests and their Capstone Projects. We also encourage students to apply for the Science Co-op Program in their Grade 11 year, but Science Co-op is not a requirement of the STEAM program.
Students will meet periodically throughout the year to discuss and be mentored for their Capstone projects by the STEAM teacher team. Students are expected to participate in the STEAM Fair in June of their Grade 11 year and present the progress they have made on their Capstone Projects.
