1) Meaningful Quote: “Focus on where you want to go, not on what you fear”- Tony Robbins.
I chose this quote because it reminds me to take chances and step out of my comfort zone. You will never reach your goals if you don’t take the risks to get there. Success does not happen by playing it safe and making the easy decisions, it happens by making the hardest decisions and doing the hardest work. There has been tough decisions I have had to make, and if I let my fear get in my way I would not have some of the best things in my life that I have today.
2) Embedded Video:
The reason I chose this video is because Terry Fox is a good role model and a great example of perseverance and determination. Although the he faced many challenges such as losing his leg and fighting cancer, he still pushed through because he wanted to make a difference and he did. Everyone thought he was crazy to attempt running across Canada but he proved himself. He inspires me to never give up on my dreams and to always try my hardest which this video really shows him doing.
3) Inspiring Picture:
I chose this picture because it inspires me to keep working hard to achieve my goals such as owning a house like this some day. My dream in life is to be rich one day with a luxury house, car, clothes, and more. When I look at this picture it reminds me of how badly I want to reach this dream and I know that I have to work to get there. This picture motivates me to put in the extra work in my school work and sports instead of the easy and lazy option which is procrastinating and not giving my full effort. I know one day it will be worth it when I imagine my future self in home such as this.

This link is special to me because it is the soccer association I have played for my whole life. I started playing for Poco soccer when I was about 3 or 4 and am still playing at almost 15. I have made some of my favourite memories such as soccer jamborees, tournaments, White Caps games with my team and so much more. I have built strong connections with my team mates who I will never forget. Poco soccer will hold a special place in my heart for the rest of my life and I can’t wait for the many more memories to come.
