ALL ABOUT ABINEET JOSEPH

My name is Abineet Joseph. To start off I love Basketball. it has been my favorite sport for a long time but everyone always don’t believe that I will be that good because I’m not that tall. And most good basketball players are tall. But I still play because I love the sport. On my spare time if I have no responsibilities I like to play video games with my friends or hang out with them in person, and go to there house or they come to mine, or we go to a place like the mall or the arcade. I also sometimes listen to music on my spare time. A hobby I do is on Thursdays I go to Kumon which is a math and reading center which help me do math and I do Math homework from there everyday. And I also do a paper route on my block on Thursdays as well.

 

Some things that are important to me is my Family without them I wouldn’t be where I am they are always there for me. And something else that is important to me is my Religion. I am Christian Catholic and without God I wont be where I am as well. Some other important things is Basketball because I love playing it when its a good day outside and love playing it with my friends it takes my mind of stress. And teachers are also important to me because they are always there to help me at school when I need it. And my friends. Without them my life would be so much different. They make my life better and we all help each other too.

 

Somethings/People that inspire me is Steph Curry. he was always small like me when he was a kid and no one believed in him, no one ever thought he would ever become a NBA player. And he became one of the greatest of all time. He proved that you should never listen to anyone and always do you. And he also became the greatest shooter of all time so he will be remembered for a long time even after he retires.

 

 

Steam is a Program where you can do Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. it is a program that only a certain amount of kids can get in. If it weren’t for my mom I wouldn’t be in it actually. She is the one that made me join it. We did a survey saying why we want to join it and a lot of other questions. instead of changing our 4 classes every semester and year, w

I chose to explore STEAM because of my mom. One day she was on the Terry Fox Secondary website and she saw that there was this new program called STEAM. and she applied me to it. One day from Kwayquitlam Middle they took a group of kids that made the STEAM group and teachers from Fox was there. they gave us some STEAM bags and keychains. I also chose steam because of all the things they said we were gonna do. Like space experiments and NASA.
