Some projects I made in STEAM….
Tech ED:
In Tech ED we all been working on a big assignment that we had to make 3 different items. A telegraph using Wood, Wires, Nails. and metal. A wood frame using a metal picture drawing. And a checker board made out of full wood. We did these 3 projects for months and worked on all of them. It was difficult because of how much different machines we had to use.
Drafting:
In drafting we been working on a sustainable city In Minecraft. We were all in groups of 2 or more and had to use our creativity to make our city. We could build anything in the city but some were mandatory to support our city like a Green house, Forests, Farms, Hydro electricity etc. I was in a group of 2 and we worked on this city for a long time. Our city was in the Desert and was a modern day city. We finished the City and presented it in front of the class. Tech ED & Drafting:
In the first semester we worked on a nature collage which helped us work on our creativity and Workmanship. We had to make a nature collage choosing a certain environment such as Oceans, Marshlands, Forests, Wood. I was in a group of 5 called CIS and we chose to do a Marshland. We used lots of different materials and machines to do this project. And we had to research about what affects animals and their surroundings and info about a certain area. We had to Present our project in the Fox theatre and we came top 4. And everyone in the group talked on stage.
