Housing options and costs | SFU is close to my home so I would personally just live at home and transit to SFU campus. |
The average housing option cost is $2,000. This is for 2 months in a Kananaskis and Rundle Halls dorm room. For this option you would share the room and have a communal bathroom. |

Closing statement | ||
Personally, between the two courses and all my personal pros and cons of the two universities I would pick Simon Fraiser University. One reason I have for this decision is that the campus is close to my home so I could live at home and commute to school using transit. Using transit is significantly cheaper than paying for housing on campus. The SFU program is more expensive than the Calgary program, but the Sustainable Energy Engineering is a Premium program that is very exclusive and has high ratings. SFU is currently my first choice for universities, but nothing is set in stone, and I am ready to explore multiple options. |
