Volunteering

I mainly work for the green team. I bring in cuttings of plant and regularly tend to them. My passion project is to build a strawberry tower for the garden.

I also am doing some work for soil testing. We have not gotten a chance yet, but will collect samples this Friday to begin testing next week.

Perspective Drawings

1-point perspective

This was the simplest drawing, but I tried to improve mine by adding some detail in the windows and the picture on the wall.

2-point perspective

Instead of bridges I put holes into the ground.

3-point perspective

Instead of a sidewalk, I added a brick wall. I also added more buildings.

Isometric Drawings

Here is a sample sheet of some isometric drawings done in class (I couldn’t find my other sheets).

A-MAZING MAZE

I spent quite a bit of time working on my maze. I used an isometric grid instead of a regular grid so that I could add 3D art to my maze, and to make the project more challenging. Here is the maze:

Gravity Car

For the gravity car project I 3D modeled and printed out the car. I added the detail of holes in the car to fill with water/sand to weigh it down for added power, but we ended up not using them as weight would count against us.

Ping Pong Pickup Challenge

I had a simple design for my picker-upper. I rolled about 11 sheets of paper into the handle, and used 1 sheet for the scoop, which had a front so that the ball wouldn’t roll away from the scoop and could be held easier. The picker-upper reached about 215cm, and scored 155 points.

Passion Project

I currently have no designs or models for my passion project as I have just started, but it is going to be a strawberry tower for the school garden (we have so many strawberry plants and nowhere to put them!). It will look somewhat like this:
