For the STEAM Fair 2024, I decided that as my passion project I would make an EPub Reader. On the internet, there lies hundreds of thousands of documents, books, and papers stored in the EPub format. The problem is, there aren’t many apps that display the contents of an EPub file in a nice and clear way for the reader. Many of them did not suit my preferences for displaying the contents of an EPub file. As a result, I realized I could make a passion project out of this discontentment and provide a much more simplistic and easier to use program for reading EPub files. This EPub reader will not be easy to use, but also provide several options for customization to enhance experience. A few examples of some of the options would be changing the border width, being able to highlight certain text, and bookmarks. In addition, the program will be available for anyone to use free of cost.
