Robotics Projects
Lego Mindstorms:
Time trial (10 M):
One of the challenges for the lego mindstorm project was to test how much time it took your robot to travel 10m. Our robot could travel 10m in 31 seconds.
Push test (10 cm):
Another challenge for the lego mindstorms project was to test how much weight your robot could push and how long it took for it to travel 10cm. Our robot could push 670g and reach 10cm in 15 seconds.
Microbits:
In Robotics, I worked with using microbits and created multiple projects that utilize the microbit’s capabilities. This video showcases its LEDs, buttons, and light sensor.
Robotics Passion Project – Noise level detecting device with Arduino:
As my robotics passion project, I chose to make a device that detected the level of sound in the room using the Arduino. The more noise present, the higher the level. In practice however, the level of sound remained fairly constant and the device didn’t detect talking in the room. If I were to do this project again, I would change the sound sensor to a more sensitive one to display more accurate and better results.
